I was a good bit as of hare territory Zeke. Im only 5 miles into my from Erie county pa. My wife's grandfather tells me about the ”jackrabbits" that used to be around there when he was a kid though.

I headed home around 11 with no deer seem this morning. I'll be back at it next Saturday.

Thought it was one of the worse NY seasons I can remember....extremely windy the 1st 4 days, then snow up top, which is great, but combined with wind, it was nasty and the deer were not moving! On top of that, other than the first morning, we heard NO shooting and didn't run into a hunter. No one seemed to be out. 8W was highly limited in doe tags, but now I see why, there just weren't any deer and in an area of 9000 state land acres, if there are no hunters out, the deer just won't move. I believe more and more people are hunting it more like archery....hunt mornings then later in the evenings....

Are we at camp yet?

I agree.

Hauled my blind out this morning after no deer sightings. I may hit it for the 2 remaining Sundays.
