97 f150 leaf spring

Got a little problem... my leaf spring is now poking thru the bed of my truck. Looks like the rear shackle is broke.. How bad is this to fix?

Re: 97 f150 leaf spring

Are the shackles welded on or bolted on?

Re: 97 f150 leaf spring

the shackle holds the spring to the mount. its not a "hard" job with the right tools. it get difficult when you have to start using this instead of that. good floor jack, jack stands and a cutting torch are imperative

if you bought it, a trucker brought it

if the bolt comes out of the rubber bushing and you have a good air chisel or torches it not hard at all
