Had dodges and chevys, no experience with the frontier, but my tacoma is probably the best truck I've had, 108K no sign of slowing down.

I had a 2002 Frontier. Traded it on a 2006 Tacoma. Now I drive a 2015 Titan.

I liked the Frontier, but they are different now than when I had mine. I had radiator issues with mine, which was a common problem with that year/engine. Other than that, I loved it.

I truly loved my Tacoma. I miss it at times, but my family outgrew it. Other than that, I'd still have it.

That said, I love....LOVE...my Titan. Fits my family well (three kids), so far has been a great vehicle all the way around. If the Frontier is just as good but a little smaller, I wouldn't hesitate a bit to go into one.

I don't think you have a bad pick between them, really. I'm not a huge fan of the cosmetic redesign on the Tacoma, to be honest, but I wouldn't let that stop me if that's the truck I liked.

Had 89,91, and 01 Tacomas all bought new, all 4 cyl 4wd all standard trans. Never had any trouble with any of them. .. Now in a 2012 Frontier 6 cyl auto trans 4wd.

I would have bought another Toyota when I got the Frontier; in fact I tried to buy one but Toyota dealers had a poor attitude from my perspective and I went to the Frontier....

I am happy with the Frontier...ended up with more power, more room for less money...But I will say that Tacoma makes a better quality truck overall.

If there comes a day when I need an other truck I'll look at Toyota first, but would not hesitate to go with the Frontier if need be.

I had a '98 Frontier, 4 cylinder 5 speed manual, and went 159K trouble free miles. Now drive a Titan. I have owned five Nissans, and can't stomach paying the additional cash for a Toyota. I'm a bit spoiled now driving a full size truck.

2010 Frontier here. Very good truck! 173k miles on her. Don't wanna talk about her too much, I may jinx it. Haha.
I was gonna buy a Tacoma at the time, but the dealer would not give me a good deal. Went down the road to Nissan and they did. I have the pro 4X model. King cab.

I like them both but given a choice I would get Tacoma.
