Homestead hunt today

Got out with three good friends today. We hunted all family land today, but my house ended up being the most productive. Found three clad coins, a small silver circle, a giant buckle, rivet with star on the end and my favorite find, a Doutrichs Token from 1926! It looks like someone back in the day used it for target practice.
Two wheats were found by the other guys as well as some more clad coins and a LOT of shotgun shell tops.

Re: Homestead hunt today

nice finds. Do you think that extra corrosion on the buckle was caused from the acid tanned leather it was attached to?

Re: Homestead hunt today

I think they used to punch a hole in the token so they couldn't be re-used
