Chapel 4/26/13

We hit the 1898 Chapel again, for about 2 hours this morning. I hate to admit, but once again, my Lady and her Ace 350 outdid me. I had whopping 38 cents. She only had 26 cents --- plus an 1893 V nickel, a dateless Standing Liberty quarter, and a ’28 and ’36 wheatie.

It isn’t so much that she topped me – it’s the razzing I have to put up with afterward.

Oh, I did dig a ring at 6”, which perked me up, until I realized it was just an old (very worn) copper pinky ring.

Next time………..its gonna be MY turn to do the razzing.

Rather than hunting alone, I’ve come up with a foolproof plan.

Initially, I considered just removing her batteries prior to our next outing. But undoubtedly, she would have immediately discovered the problem.

So, not being one to give up so easily, I think I will simply tape a pull-tab to the bottom of her coil.

Now see if she can top me!

Let the razzing begin………….

Re: Chapel 4/26/13

We hunted a park for a bit this morning. She found the pull-tab I taped to the bottom of her coil – so that idea didn’t work.

Anyway, the poor girl only had 90 cents and 1 wheatie compared to my $1.24 and 2 wheaties.

But yes, she did it to me again……….she also dug a 2.9 gram sterling ring. Ugh!
