First hunt of 2020

Had a fun hunt today. Found 11 wheat cents ranging from 1940-1956. I thought this spot was a little older than it apparently is, but still had fun. The ring is Judy-Lee Jewels, sterling silver. According to a few informal online sources, Judy-Lee was in business from 1949-1968, and have become collectible. Was a great day to be outside today.

That's a cool, old broadhead. The name escapes me but I'm pretty sure I have a few in my arrow building box.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

I know it takes a lot of experience and time , but how do you all start to find good areas to look in ? have a finder that was given as a gift used it at the beach a few times ,found lots of bottle caps and sinkers, but would like to expand looking around home ,{western pa.} curious how to start looking for probable areas

first step is to get permission for private , secondly I think it illegal to dig on state game lands { not 100% sure }.for Indian artifacts try in areas where they use to live especially around where they plow and disc, that brings some of them up to the top.

COOL! haven't been out in years, when I use to travel for business sometimes I'd take the detector. Yes that is a Pearson Deadhead.
