Hi guys. I have never really been into "treasure" hunting as many of you all are. However, I have a son who is "eat up" with it and I have no idea where to begin.
I am not looking for anyone's secret cache or spot. Just curious where a guy could begin in PA? We live in Snyder County. I know there was a lot of native Americans here at one time. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated by a certain young man

If you're talking relic hunting, go to farms after they turn over the fields and ask permission to walk the rows. High spots near water sources are good places to look. Offer to remove any trash you find in the field. Even on posted properties, I never got turned down to look for relics. You can also hunt creek beds and gravel bars. If you have any flood control lakes, walk the shore line when the water is low. My son and I enjoy it and any reason to get outside is good.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.
