Three Day Silver

Made another trip back to the yard I found the dateless SLQ for my second hunt of the year. Cleaned up on the wheats and a couple silver dimes. Also my first war nickel for the year.

My kid and I take metal detecting pretty serious, lately neither one of us has gotten out much.
More often then not we end up with more junk the keepers.

Thanks!! It'll be a slow year for sheds this year. Hopefully next year I'll get out early.
I'll make up for lack of sheds with metal detecting finds. Lol

Can I ask what kind of metal detector you have?I think it would be fun but have no idea what to look for in a unit.I would be looking around old buildings mostly.

i have a few different ones but, mainly use the Garett AT Pro, we're talking about $600.00 for a package deal. Also have a Mine
Lab CTX 3030,$2000.00. I get too frustrated trying to learn the CTX and feel really comfortable with the AT Pro to put her down. Lol
Garret has a few lower end models that I hear are very good machines. I'd shop around sticking with some brand name companies like Garret, Whites or Mine Lab.
You could also check out the forums on treasurenet.com. A lot more knowledgeable people there that can really help you out.

Sweet day Laylow!!
I'm still looking for my first Walker. I've got a 40% Kennedy, a Franklin, and a Barber half but, no Walker. You don't see those SLQ's with a date too often either. Congrats!!
