anyone know their coins?

Over the weekend I was ridding out a metal closet down in my furnace room, it' was there when we purchased the house 4 years ago. I had looked in it when we bought the house but only seen some scrap pipe, furnace nozzles, a few rusted handtools. I don't really go in there very often so I always just left it alone.

Well while I was ridding it out over the weekend I found an old butter bowl with some older coins in it, mostly wheaties, but a couple mercury dimes, the years on the dimes are 1943, a couple buffalo nickels, years are-1937,1934, 1926, a couple v nickels, 1904, 1907. The wheaties range all over the place, prbly 100 or so of them.

Do any of these coins have much value, I figure the 1921 is worth a little in silver value if nothing else? Or did I find some kids "treasure chest".

Re: anyone know their coins?

assuming "good" condition, here are the red book values:
1943 mercs: $2-$2.50/each
buffs:
1937- around $1 UNLESS missing his front right leg, then over $500
1934- $1
1926- $1, unless D mint mark is underthe words five cents on back, then $10, if S is present then $20

v's:
1904- $1.50
1907- $1.50

Thanks 4c, anything on the 1921 "liberty" dollar? I looked it up but seems to be all over the place. I'm gonna look through the wheaties now.

Are we talking a Morgan Dollar or a Peace Dollar? They were both made in 1921.
