Re: Video Package

I cant afford the cameras I really want. I need something prosumer with three rings, multiple chips and a low lux rating. Having a 2 year old puts the brakes on that so Ill mainly be using a playsport. It takes pretty good video and virtually no space.

What I say might not be the popular trend but at least Im not afraid to speak my mind!

Re: Video Package

Really diggin' the Canon Vixia HFS200 I purchased from ebay! Only downfall is I have to upgrade the guts in my computer to handle it and the edit program I want to get. It will be mostly for trapping.

the original footage is true HD and much sharper. not sure yet how to get that to carry over to youtube yet. gotta play around with settings during upload.

Re: Video Package

I use a Sony HDR-Fx7 for now. I will be upgrading sometime in the near future. I have a 3rd arm tree arm, manfrotto tripod and the Manfrotto 502 hd fluid head.

Re: Video Package

This year as for many years to come the budget is tight and I am having to deal with Sony Handycam CX-150, I did buy a remote connector to it to make zooming in and recording a heck of a lot easier. I bought a gorilla tree arm many years ago and will work with that. Good luck guys I'm excited to get some footage.
