Garmin VIRB

Does anyone have any experience with the Garmin VIRB cam? I have been seeing a lot of good reviews on it,just wondering if anyone on here has any input. There is a newer model with all the bells and whistles,wi-fi compatable, gps compatable, etc. I don't understand half of that stuff,I'm just looking for a basic videocam to take on hunts,so that one is out of the running for me.But I saw an ad for the original basic model for $98,with free shipping, from Left Lane Sports. Sounds like a pretty good deal.

Re: Garmin VIRB

I picked one up on sale in December last year & am very pleased with the clarity, ease of use & the edit program that comes with it. That's a very good price. $ 27.00 cheaper than I paid.
Here's a video I took while I was carp fishing on a cold day. It was 28 degrees.

Re: Garmin VIRB

I think you will like it. You can download the Verb Edit from the Garmin site & have it before you get your virb. I recently got the head strap & water proof case. I hope to get some good videos this spring. Here's a video of my carpin buddy getting an 18 pounder last December on a frigid day. The video I posted above was with the Virb on a tri pod, the video below was with the Virb hand held.

Looking foreward to see some of your videos.

I also forgot to mention that you can upload your videos to you tube right from the Virb Edit screen.

Re: Garmin VIRB

I use it too. Thinking of getting another for multi camera shoots. It does a good job.
