I've been training for several trail races and triathlons this year and was made aware of the benefits of beet root juice from a dietician and physical therapist. Check out the abstracts on pubmed.gov to learn more about it but I'm convinced it has helped me successfully complete my first 1/2 iron triathlon a month ago. Search beet root juice and if interested you can juice your own or buy it in most natural foods stores.
Each morning Carrot, apple, celery and Ginger.
When I get to work I make a shake--Greek plain yoghurt, frozen blueberries, strawberries, banana ground up oatmeal and almond milk.
After work: Beet, Carrot, Celery and either kiwi or mango.
Tea parties are for little girls with imaginary friends.
