Crestor advice....

Doc put me on 5Mg. of Crestor. Been on it for 5 Months and am starting to have Leg pain and am so dang tired I don`t even want to get out of Bed!!! Has anybody used this stuff and experienced the same symptons??? Any advice would be welcome.....

The best advise will come from your doctor after you talk to him about your side effects.

Muscle cramps are common but make sure you tell yoru doctor about it. Make sure you are getting a ALT/AST test every 6 months to check your liver function. How high was your LDL and your HDL?

Have a lengthy History of Heart Disease with high LDL and HDL. I was on Zocor for quite a spell and started having the same symptons. But, this is much worse!! Going to call Tomorrow and try to get off it. Been waiting all Summer for Hunting Season and sure don`t want to spend it on the Couch!!

Statins work but you describe a major adverse reaction.

Good Luck on your quest to find a substitute.

I'm not much of a dieter but did you give changing yer diet an honest try?

Tell our doctor, have you tried Niacin? Or he can switch statins....

your doctor will know best. I take 40mg of crestor once a day among 6 other meds for my heart.

pain,sleepy come with the territory.

Went to the Doc today. My numbers are way up!! She put me on Livalo. This is the last Statin to be tried!! I got to get off the Couch and get back into Life, I guess?? She is testing my Testosteron level also....wait and see.
