Couldn't go it alone..... the fiancee and I joined a gym. I also bought the 5 extra sessions with the personal trainer.

After trying to get on a steady workout plan and steady nutrition plan I decided that as much as the fiancee was supporting me it wasn't enough.

We joined Anytime Fitness so that we have the convenience of going....anytime! The one we go to is a brand new one, so nice and clean with all new equipment.

I have to say that after three sessions with the personal trainer I thought I would kill over.

The first time we just did an overview and information session. The second was legs and abs which was killer but ok. The third was arms and shoulders. In all my life and even back when I used to be in shape I can't remeber ever being so sore!

I wear the soreness as a badge of honor, tells me that it is working.

Needless to say, I took the HPA challenge started in the Archery Forum and wasn't loosing any weight or getting in better shape so I decided I needed help. Now I have proper guidance from a trained and educated person who could properly assess me and put me on the right path.

Congradulations to you. Nothing wrong with admitting you need help. Getting educated in health and fitness is something I wish I would have gotten into 20 to 30 years ago.

Good luck and keep us updated.

Even though I am doing very well with my WW diet. I really should be working out and/or walking. I plan to do that soon. I actually like sweating and hurting some. Feels like I am accomplishing something!!
