HDL-LDL ratio?

I'm confused. (normal) My HDL-LDL ratio was 5.21 last July. After beating myself up again for over a year and watching my diet(what I shove in my yap) per the blood test I had done yesterday its now 2.27. According to what I've read anything at or lower than 3.5 is good, anything over 5 is bad.
Am I on the right track?

it sounds like you are. You can lower the LDL but it's almost impossible to raise your HDL and unfortunately its mostly genetic. Just remember to supplement of you feel your at risk: and remember the key eating foods high in cholesterol wont give you high numbers processed sugars and grains will.
