Water...

How much water do you drink a day? Do you like it or do you struggle to get even a little bit in?

I know some people love water. Then there are people like my mother who will not drink it.

I have been drinking upwards of a gallon a day. (Trying very hard to keep my kidneys flushed due to birthing kidney stones... last one had me in hospital begging to die on Christmas night.)

So do you drink enough?

Re: Water...

I drink about 1/2 gallon a day.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Water...

I drink about a gallon of water and some tea and coffee as well. I feel awful if I don't get enough water.

Re: Water...

I feel like if I don't drink at least a half gallon a day, I feel so dehydrated. I quit drinking tea n soda. I haven't given up coffee since I can tolerate it now.

I've also lost some weight since increasing my water intake.

Re: Water...

It depends. If I have to spend all day on a plane, I won't drink a drop If I'm home for a week it can go up to a gallon a day, not b/c I feel like I need it, but b/c I know it's good for me.

I don't feel any different 1 way or the other.

Other than that all I drink is coffee. Maybe a glass of whiskey by the fire after the kids are in bed, now and then.

Re: Water...

Water is a primary ingrediant in whiskey.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Water...

My wife teases me about water being "that stuff you make coffee out of." I actually drink very little plain water.

Re: Water...

Water is good for you since we are over 60% water and water also helps control body heat, heart rate and blood pressure but I push myself to drink 40 oz of straight water over the day.
I also drink a lot of coffee, iced tea and try to eat fruit like oranges, watermelon and grapes.
Tap, well or bottled water tastes the same to me.

Re: Water...

I drink about a 1/2 gallon of regular water a day plus the coffee I drink with Stevia. I agree about hydration. The more I drink the better I do on weight control or loss. And considering the damage I did over the holidays I am chipping away at the weight
