Tread climber

Anybody use one? Looking for input. I suffer from severe deconditioning in my legs and we're thinking of purchasing one.

Re: Tread climber

We have the TC10. The wife bought it a year or so back on one of those specials/discount deals. She used it every day until ankle pain forced her to stop. After Dr. visits, biopsy, etc. she had a cyst removed from her ankle. She's still in recovery mode. I've used it a few times in bad weather. It's alright, but I'm not a big fan of machines. I like running outside, with the changing scenery. I might have to use it today. I got about 3-4 miles yesterday and the asthma shut my breathing down, with a mask on. Had an ice cube in my beard at the bottom of the mask.

Re: Tread climber

I can't run-which the treadclimber is walking only. I also would rather go outside. But with a changing work schedule the machine appears to be my next move. Was it helpful for her? I need the motorized version. I keep checking craigslist before I drop $2K!

Re: Tread climber

She just did about 5 min. on it this morning. She's still having soreness in her ankle. Still has a bit of a limp from the surgery. She was doing good on it before the pain started.
