Feet started tingling (pins-n-needles), then numbness from mid-foot to the toes. This was a couple years ago. I was thinking circulation simply from age progression. But my ma is diabetic, so I went for tests. No diabetes, circulation was great, back MRI was ok (I have back troubles), but the nerve test showed issues. Blood-work showed I was a tad low on B Vitamin, but not really enough to make a difference. Neurologist said sometimes you just never know the cause, but I have it. Was told to manage it the best I can. Today, my feet are almost solidly numb from middle through the toes. It has essentially put an end to any stand type hunting in cold weather, as I cannot take the cold in my feet.
Didn't realize neuropathy was as common as it seems.
