He did it!

After a disappointing bear season where he hit a bear we never recovered (My phone said I tracked it 8 miles over the course of the day. Looked like a low leg hit) and getting busted by 4 doe before an 8 point presented a shot on opening day, the Wee Man redeemed himself in Kittanning. We were hunting with friends on their property when this dandy 8 pt. ran up. The shot was about 100 yds and he bang-flopped it. He's still on cloud nine. First buck and fourth deer of his young hunting career. We have a taxidermy bill coming.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

That smile says it all, congrats to you and your boy, well done!!!

Sadly most of my life has been wasted, but the rest I spent hunting, fishing, and trapping...
