My son decided he wanted to try archery this year. He shot this buck the last Friday of archery (just getting around to posting). All hunting involves luck, but my son really worked hard. He spent by my estimation 40+ hours on stand, and countless more getting competent with his bow. He could have had a crossbow, but wanted to shoot a compound.
Not much can put a smile like that on a 13 year old face.
It is the Bear apprentice, although I don't know which version. I was very impressed with how easy it was to change weight and draw length, all without a bow press. Very flexible. It is also complete, buy the bow and some arrows and go at it. I think the only thing I added was a stabilizer.
