Re: outdoor furniture

Something like these should be simple and easy to make, or look for a set of Adirondack chair plans, and build your chairs using those dimensions.........I never follow any plans other than my own when I build something, I generally look at similar items, and take a few rough measurements, then sketch up what I want to do.....

May I ask why you want to use 2x4's only?

Re: outdoor furniture

We found a good bench design on Lowes DIY videos. www.lowes.com. We built our out of 2x6 pressure treated decking that we also used for the deck - very easy to build, but I can't find the designs now. If you screw the 2x4's together to make some legs, I bet it would work fine to built a sturdy bench.

Re: outdoor furniture

Google Leopold Bench. Easy and looks good too!
