Creating garden beds

I did 3 large projects this summer/fall. One was the beginnings of a vegetable garden, second was organization for the garage and my waterfowl gear, most recently was a chain link fence around my whole yard. Today I'll start with the garden project.

Just a little stone work I did to create beds for my vegetable garden.

Enough room in between for a second rectangular bed next spring, and maybe one below the circle My yard gets full sun form sunrise until 3 or 4 pm in the summer. Even then most of the shade from my pine hits the neighbors yard.

I laid out bags of garden soil, cut holes in the bottoms and cut out the top. Planted directly in them, then covered the bags with mulch. This allowed me to grow additional plants, and create a soil base for next years beds.
