Carpenter Bee Trap

Time to get ready-
One morning this week I made some Carpenter Bee Traps for family members.

The design is simple. Design found on YouTube.
4x4 block. 4"-5" long.
1" shaft drill in center, 3" long
3/4" entry hole on 45 degree angle, on all sides

Nice.
What do you do with them after they are trapped?
Make them Plumbers or Electricians?

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

Look good!

I should make a few to hang around my shed.

Thanks for the reminder!

They work great, same type I’ve used the last few years. Only difference is I used glass jars with screw lids. I took a piece or 1/2 conduit and ground a bevel on it to punch hole in lid. Backed up by block of wood.

Did you every make any with piece of plywood or anything as a roof to see if it attracted more?Or do you just hang them in a protected place.
