Peppermill

The wife and I along with another couple where at an outdoor Christmas Market before the holidays. One of the vendors was selling peppermills. My buddies wife was going to buy one but I opened my BIG mouth and said I'd make her one. Anyway I decided on sizing down a whiskey barrel. After researching dimensions I decided 1/10th scale seemed just about the right size. This is what I came up with.

Great job!

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Appreciate the nice comments!! Hardware I picked up at woodcraft in Union Deposit. The units can also be ordered online. They sell for $13 bucks. Have to do a little looking on their website. Projects/turning kits/kitchen-kits. They have a bunch of different types.

It's a fun project...... now I'm working on 2 more for friends that saw the 1st one.

Well if your retired you probably just got a new full time job..... peppermill maker. Don't show it off to too many friends - you'll never get a day off. Nice work.
