Axe Sheath

Several years ago I bought a few pieces of leather at a yard sale. It was not top quality and not finished, but thought I could use it sometime.
My camp axes never had a leather sheath so I thought I would use the yard sale leather.
I cut out and shape the second one faster than the first as I seem to get the hang of it.

The leather wasn't finished so I rubbed in Neatsfoot Oil to soften and preserve.
Here's my two camp axes with my homemade sheath...

Sheath should give me years of service...

axes laying on leather I started with...
