Habitat work day on SGL 219!!

Hi Guys. Our QDMA branch is having a habitat day on Saturday, Feb 15 on SGL 219. We will be doing an annual browse cut and fruit tree day lighting. We will meet at the bank in Little Meadows at 9:00 AM and head in from there. If you can bring a chain saw please do, but be advised that chaps, eye/ear protection and a helmet are also required. If you can come and help drag brush to form brush piles, that too is welcome. I will be unable to attend as I still need a few more months until I'm able to safely move around in the woods!! Please feel free to pass this on to other RGS/NWTF/PF/QDMA members/volunteers as we're all in this together!! Thanks.

Thanks to everyone who came out to work on the daylighting and brush pile building!! We had 9 guys turn out for a long day of habitat work. There was about 20" to 24" of snow. We even had a good guy from HuntPA come along!! Thanks you Spur for the extra hand!! We will be having another habitat day on March 29 (I think that's the date?). I'll be posting a notice as we get closer to the date.

Stackbarrel, our camp is near 219 and we would like to know if your next work day is March 28th. Is it at SGL 219?

As far as I know the next scheduled work day on 219 is March 29. I'll post details here as soon as they are firmed up. Probably meet at the bank in Little Meadows at 9:00.
