HPA Regional Groups suggestion

Not sure if this is the right forum, so Mods feel free to move if needed.

While driving around PA last week, I noticed several Adopt-A-Highway stretches that were open for adoption. I thought to myself that it would be a good thing if each of the HPA regions adopted a stretch of roadway in thier area. There may even be some stretches available near Gamelands, State Forests, or farmlands.
It'd be a great way to help take care of the lands, and demonstrate how much hunters do.
Plus it'll get HPA's name on the signs

What do you all think?

Re: HPA Regional Groups suggestion

We tried this out in the South Central region (didnt get our name on any signs but did a clean up). We posted the information here in the forums and there was little to no interest in anyone helping out. 4 members I beleive attended. People are pretty busy and its hard to get others involved

Re: HPA Regional Groups suggestion

It wasnt really an Adopt-a-Highway event that we had but the participation as lax.

The Adopt-a-Highway program is something the reps kicked around about 2 months ago. I am in the process of getting available roads that are open near SF's and SGL's across the state. As soon as I get the information back, I will post it so everyone can see and we can go from there depending on possible participation.

Great idea Bcoz
