Eastern Sportsmans Show

Does anyone know if there will be a booth from HPA at the show? I would like to meet some more guys from here and see if I can get a few new decals from HPA as well.

Re: Eastern Sportsmans Show

We get closer to havi ng a booth there every year, but I am afraid this year won't be the year. It is a pretty expensive endeavor when you don't gain anything but more free memberships, and maybe a new sponsor or two..however because it is such a big show and in PA we are always tempted to be there. It would be worth while, heck I have even got a cool booth planned out if we ever do make it.

From others who booth there I was told to avoid the the "hallway", so once you do that it gets pricey.

Also very tough to schedule coverage to man a booth all week long, I'd have to burn vacation to do it as would many others...

MANY FORM HPA will be there though, I hope to bring my troops out for the first time ever, likely close to the second weekend and of course will have HPA gear on. But I know many from that immediate area will be there too.

Really wish we could put a booth there just for the membership to have that meeting spot, just can't swing it in the budget.

Re: Eastern Sportsmans Show

How about having a "yard sale" for a week on the for sale board or make a new one, with any profits from the sales going to the cause. I have stuff I would list. Thought for next year.?.

RB,
What you might consider instead is seeing if BassPro would let you have a table or something at their store. They provide coach bus transportation to the show and free parking.

Doing it there wouldn't tie you up for the whole show either. Set up when you can.

Re: Eastern Sportsmans Show

Or, they or someone else with a booth, might consent to having HPA info available at their show booth? Maybe some HPA decals to hand out.

Just for future planning - I'd help with this. I go every year for 2-3 days, and vacation time available - and it's only 1.5 hrs away from me!

Re: Eastern Sportsmans Show

Is "shooting the X" going to have a booth there? I'd imagine with as many ppl involved with that that they'd allow some HPA stuff at their booth.

Re: Eastern Sportsmans Show

Weather permitting I will be there on Saturday the 5th. If RB blesses it, I have some decals I can bring along (that I still haven't sent back to him) if anyone is interested. I would be happy to pick a time and place to do a little shake and howdy and get some decals in your hands.
