Trail Boss

Anyone have experience with using Trail Boss for .45 ACP reloading?

I typically shoot 200 gr RN with 5.0 gr W 231 and Would like to try Trail Boss as an alternative.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

The .45 ACP is about as sub-sonic as they come.

Never used Trail Boss, but LOVE AA-5744, which is pretty similar.

I load all my 45acp ammo using TrailBoss. I load on a progressive press and I know that loading with TB cost a bit more, but it's much easier than trying to visually determine a correct powder drop when the load is a rabbit fart of 3.8gr of something or something.

I shoot these from my Springfield 1911 and have never met a steel target that TB won't knock over.

And......the smell after 30 or more rounds is pretty pleasant!!!
