Power dispenser and scale

Appears I may have to replace my RCBS power master dispenser; whereas, the light is not going steady to indicate the dispenser is comunicating with the Pack scale. It worked fine for several years. Can anyone through hands-on experience recommend a quality power dispenser/scale combo?

Have a call into RCBS but the power master has been discontinued for a period of time so I don't expect much.

My guess is that RCBS still has some in their inventory and will send you one for free. Hornady stopped making the small powder scale I like so much about 10 years ago. I had my 12 or so year old one go south. When I called Hornady the lady looked it up and sure enuf, still in stock. Gave her my CC and I bought it at about a 20% discount.

If the light is intermittent I would suspect a loose or dirty connection.

The graphite and powder residue may be interfering with the contacts. I'd pull it apart and clean it before buying a new one.

Update RCBS called today and told me my power master dispenser was discontinued many years ago. However, she walked me through resetting the dispenser and guess what it works. Very nice she could told me it was antiquated and I had no choice except buy a new one. As many companies do and sometimes they give you a small percentage off so you will buy their product.

RCBS has always treated me right and this was no exception.
