30 Remington

Any of you load this round? If so, what's your recipe?

I see said the Blind Carpenter to his Deaf Helper as he picked up his Hammer and Saw!

I'm hearing any 30/30 load will work.

I am new to the 30 Rem. but I think I used 30gr of imr 4064 with a 170 gr bullet. DO NOT TAKE THIS AS GOSPEL AS THIS IS FROM MEMORY. As previously mentioned 30/30 data will work but work up from starting charges. What gun do you have mine is a 14.c
Brass supply can be a problem. I saw a video on youtube where a guy turns 30/30 brass to 30 rem dimensions. I tried 20 on my drill press and seem to be working fine but I haven't reached hunting loads yet.

I'm fine on Brass, I've got 100 pieces plus 60 unfired factory rounds. You can still buy brass off a company called Graf's It's a dollar a case. Thanks

I chucked the case in the press and turned the rim off down to proper dia, roughly the dia of case body then cut extractor groove in and done. I used a half round file to do all this. They aren't pretty but it was my first attempt.

My Remington 141 in 30 Remington is mostly used as a cast bullet gun. I use .30-30 load data from published sources and have been happy with the results.
