I heard you can use trail boss powder to load reduced loads for a 30/06 ! anyone know anything about that ? i want to be sure before i would buy some .
I don't know how the trailboss will be for the 30-06 but I've worked up some loads for the 45-70 and they a great to shoot. They make great plinking rounds and are real soft to shoot. Be interested to hear how the reloads turn out if you try them
I didn't look at all of the links, but I have loaded trail boss for my daughter's 243. She is 10 and weighs maybe 60 pounds. This was her first experience with a center fire and she did great. The load has very mild recoil with 85 grain Sierra bullets and she can shoot it well. Her 8 year old sister even took a shot and didn't complain.
