Re: 270 WSM

I HAD A SAVAGE 116 270 WSM THAT WOULD NOT SHOOT ANYTHING LESS THAN 4 INCH GROUPS, UNTIL I TRIED REMINGTON CORELOCTS, IT THEN DROPPED TO 3/4 INCH SHOOTER. SHOULDA NEVER GOT RID OF THAT ONE!!

Re: 270 WSM

To me it would depend on how much I shot that gun. I had a 300 WSM for a while, and it shot amazing with 180 gr winchester power points. Even though I reload I never did reload for it. Couldn't see the point.

Eventhough factory WSM loads are outlandishly expensive for what they are it can get costly to find a good load reloading. Add up the cost of a couple different bullets and powder to try along with the dies, and any other tools you might need.

I got those power points just to get it on paper the first year I had it. After shooting them I just couldn't see any point in reloading for it when I only shot less than a box a year out of that thing.
