Shell plates

Hey guys maybe someone could answer a question for me. I was just given an old Hornady pro 7 progressive press that is in like new condition. I need shell plates for various calibers and they are not available anymore. I was told I could use the ones for the new lock n load presses and that they would actually work better than the original ones for the pro 7 is this correct? Also if anyone has any they would like to sell let me know...Rick

Re: Shell plates

I have a Hornaday Projector (I think thats older then the one you have, but I could be wrong), and I use some of the new shell plates with it
