Just gotta know where to look.... :)

Just made a powder buy.

I was looking for powders for my new 10mm pistol, specifically Longshot.

Ran into some for sale, inquired on it. Wound up with a deal where I got 2lbs of Longshot, 1lb of D037-01 (similar to AA #7)...those are for the 10mm. Then the seller mentioned 3lbs of H110 that works well in my 41 Mag.

Total for all 6lbs of powder?

$100.

Deals are out there. Just gotta look for 'em!

And yes, All are new, sealed containers of powder.

I had 1100, yes, one thousand one hundred, 10mm bullets delivered for $117 recently. That's total cost, in my hand.

Part of the reloading hobby is learning to be a web scrounger. It can really pay off!

Try taking a drive to Shydas outside Lebanon. Typically their prices are lower than any others in the area, better stocked and selection.
To give you some idea ....
Longshot HODGDON POWDERLONGSHOT | Shyda's Outdoor Center
H110 HODGDON POWDER H110 | Shyda's Outdoor Center

Yep. Well aware of them. And they're usually the go to place when powder is needed and no one else has it.

I got this last batch of h110 for $6/lb under their price.

Did a batch of 10-mil on my Rockchucker last night. Tedious, yes, but it does make some nice looking rounds.

I'll find out if they're nice shooting/functioning hopefully this weekend.
