Primer catcher- aka; better mouse trap

Browsing the reloading section on the 6BR site the thread "Primer catcher for RCBS presses" got my attention. It seems a guy is making 3D printed catchers for not only RCBS presses but a few other makes. Having a RC IV in my man cave I thought for 24 bucks and change ( cost plus shipping) I'd give his "upgraded" catcher a try. What could I lose, it had to be better than the original "after thought".

Installation was a snap...literately, it simply snapped into place. My initial test, fifty 223, twenty 260 and twenty 38 SPL cases. It didn't miss a beat, all ninety dropped into the supplied tube, not one on the floor or anywhere else. Emptying the tube was just as easy, pull the plug, the primers go into the trash can. The other option, remove the plug and let them to drop directly in the trash can.
I don't have any connection with the guy other than being a customer.

Those sure are a nice addition. My jr3 is a much nicer press to de-cap with now. Great upgrade for sure.
