federal gold medal match brass 308

How good is the federal gold medal match brass for reloading??? I have heard that this brass is to soft, after several reloads the primer pockets losen up. Anyone using this brass and have you had any problems with it. JIM

Jim, I used Federal Match brass back in the 1980's in my NRA Match Rifles, then it was as good as you could get. Also The Marine Long Range Team used same at Quantico, However thus is "2011" but I would try some.

airgun 101 I am going to give it a try. I was given 191 pieces of the Fed GMB once fired, I now have it all ready to load. Thanks Jim

I have always liked Federal brass. As well as Winchester. The brass I always avoided was Remington. I have not had any real bad experiences with any brass. But the Remington seems to have more cull brass than any other when I open up a fresh new bag of brass. And brass has gotten to be so expensive that throwing away cull brass is a little more difficult to do now-a-days. Tom.
