Old junk brass cases?

Do you save them? Will any scrap yards buy them as brass scrap?

Re: Old junk brass cases?

The last bucket of brass cases I took into the Scrap dealer in Greensburg Pa, he took all the brass, even the ones with spent primers in them, but someone a form told me they would also take the loose spent primers, this was not the case.
Any loose primers you may as well throw them in the trash, but if I remember right, they gave me the same price for the cases as they did for some brass fittings I threw in with them.

That is good to hear. When I go to the range at the club I pick up littered brass just to make it look better.I figured since it doesn't take up much space some day I will scrap it.

Re: Old junk brass cases?

save your old brass to take in for scrap. last time I took in a gallon bucket full I thing I got around 10-15 bucks for it. PS. save your 22lr cases too. they add up

Life is like a coin, you can spend it anywhere you like, but you can only spend it once.

If these are once fired you can sell them to reloaders!

Re: Old junk brass cases?

everything either me or my dad doesnt reload, goes into a box and when the box is full i take it to the scrap yard, 22, 22mags, and worn out cases that we have reloaded several times.

Should I shoot? I don't care, im not the one holding the gun, if it was me, we'd be skinning by now.
