A good belt and holster helps a ton...a weak belt and sloppy uncomfortable holsters means no comfort...

Gun is a really personal thing...something you can shoot well and carries well for you is best..I like a 4" 1911. Slim and carries well...but at the same time it is completely shootable...I can dump a mag on target...can't do that with my baby glock in 40s&w even with mag grip extensions...little bigger just jumps out ta your hand after a few rounds..

Picking out a gun and holster you are comfortable with is key...if not you will find yourself not carrying it....a gun not carried isn't doing any good...
