Ford or Chevy

I know that it's a ford/chevy type question... but I'm looking into getting a dog to train for coon and cats. I'd like the dog to also be: less than 80 lbs. with him/her being a house dog/trapping companion also. Looking for opinions on what to get and your reasoning. Thanks!

Re: Ford or Chevy

For a house dog and companion I vote curs. What the heck I vote curs for all of the above.

Re: Ford or Chevy

I would vote curs also. Mine is the best housedog I ever had and a good squirrel dog. Never hunted her on coons but I think she would be an even better coon dog. Size varies on curs but there are very few that reach 80 pounds. Average goes from 35-65 pounds but there are a few that are bigger. They are just great dogs, hunt with you like hunting with one of your hunting buddies.

You canít get them if you ainít in the woods!!
