Check on the UKC or PKC site, depending on which registry you're more interested in.

Most cheatin and non pleasurable events under the moon is competition coon hunts.. Some guys can tolerate em, I can't stomach em..If I'm going to the woods I want to have a pleasurable time... This is not it..

They are not always like that. I have enjoyed many of the hunts that I have been on. I will say that it depends on registery though. Met some good people there too.

As said, go to ukc site check under current events. Most clubs are done until spring now. But you can still find a few events around.

Re: Coondog Field Trials

Snapper, as stated they are not ALL, bad, I have been on several pleasurable ones.. They have however been greatly outnumbered by the bad ones.. Most of those I was a non-hunting judge in them or a spectator. They just don't thrill me... Too much margin to cheat, and I can't stand cheatin, so I stay away..
