What kind of dog and how old?

As Charles Barkley says, "I may be wrong, but I doubt it".

Re: ear mites

Don't assume it's mites without a diagnosis from a vet. Often it is a yeast infection. Try a 50-50 mix of apple cider vinegar and water.

Re: ear mites

I use ear mite killer by Performer brand. Get it at agway and tractor supply. Kills on contact ear mites,flies,gnats,skeeters.fleas.ticks,lice even mange mites.

I also use Bloodworth's ear canker remedy to clean the ear after using the mite killer.

Nite lite sells a ear rite brand insecticidl ear wash for dogs that kills mites and ticks. never used the last one because the first two always worked. Waugh!

Re: ear mites

A lot of the older dog owners used to use boric acid in the ears. They claimed it would cure it in less than one day.

Re: ear mites

50% alcohol, 50% vinegar with 1 teaspoon boric acid and 2 teaspoons of betodyne solution.. Great for ear wash and clearing up ear conditions.. For yeast, Zymox....
