I'm going to trap for the first time since dad and I did 25 years ago. The trail cam photos of coon, coyotes and fox are very plentiful. As far as I know there are no trappers anywhere near this area. Its going to be trial and error for me. My grandfather will love tagging along. He has the equipment and old school trapper knowledge. Any knowledge is helpful. These cornfield bandits sure are creating some damage..

I wouldn't bet on that. Now that fur prices are back up, there will be a record number of trappers out there this year. I use to have "my trapping area" to myself. I couldn't believe the competition I ran into last year and judging from all of the people just starting out and the people getting back into it, we will all run into plenty of competition.

Trapperrick I hope there are more guys trapping. The predators are of plenty in my area.. I wish I had more time because I would definitely have a large line. The private property that surrounds me that I have full access to would put up some numbers.

Another "good guy" shout out for Mr. Fabin.

Only ever sold to him once and he treated me BETTER than fair. thumbs
