Picked up a new tractor (to me). Looking for a 7-9 foot drag style brush hog. Would like name brand in medium or heavy duty. Leads would also be appreciated.

Just be careful buying used. A lot of used brush hogs for sale are being sold because they are beat to death. You may want to check around on auctionzip to see if there is any estate auctions that may have one. Finding one in that size range may take a little while since most are either 5' or 6'. What make and model tractor did you get?

John Deere 4010. Motor was redone to 4020 specs.
Needed spindles and some one had the wiring wrong to the starter.
Bought to drag logs. Now I want to brush hog with it also.
I hear you on the beat up part. Have gone to look at a few. The last one's gear box was shattered and they still wanted good money.
