Haven't had a chance to look at the allocations yet, but I can tell you this, a lot of people are very excited. At work we got two guys that got lab pups from the same litter, they haven't stopped talking about the upcoming pheasant/small game season. The mechanic is buying a license again this year, he hasn't bought one in years. It's going to be a GREAT season!

Yea, I can't wait. My GSP was a 1.25 years old last year, I didnt find a single bird. Also got skunked during waterfowl.

I had him out twice during May (about an hr each time). Pointed a woodcock first trip out within about 20 mins.

This is the first dog I've ever had and never hunted upland/waterfowel. I was disappointed last year, but I knew it was out of our control. I'm hittin it HARD this year!

I might even try grouse hunting out once or twice this year wink So I may be asking for some invites to learn from some seasoned vets.

I'm excited, can't wait for Sept 1!

It will be nice to have the stocking spread out more during the season.

We're excited too, going to do some clay bird shooting this week end.Looks like our area is going to get plenty of birds, good thing because grouse are scarce around here. The rabbit population also seems to be up.Love the fact that they'll be more stockings through out the year.

WOW.... Good job to the PGC with spreading out the stocking. I cant believe that were even getting a Christmas stocking in Mckean County. Im Definately looking forward to this season. It Looks like the grouse are going to get a few extra weeks of rest this year from me..... Is it fall yet!!!!!!

Pheasant stocking numbers back up due to Marcellus shale

"Thanks to Marcellus Shale revenues, agency returns to pre-2005 pheasant stocking level"

Some more good coming out of the industry.
