Not really sure what it is and I'm curious to know. I wish I could have stopped to take a picture but traffic didn't allow it.

There were 3 of them in a group around Skippack/Worcester
They were about the size of a Smaller adult Turkey but they had the shape of a partridge (slopped back) and were flat grey color with some brighter colors (red/blue?) in their head/beak area.

This is the second time I've seen a group of birds that fit this description. Once in Limerick (Saw 2 during deer season) and again this morning (3).

What kind of birds are these?

To add a little more info, They did not have a tail like a Turkey and their feathers looked a lot finer, smaller and smoother than a turkey

Very close but it was a flat grey, no pattern on the feathers at all

Pretty sure I've seen them without vibrant speckling on the feathers. Not sure if there are different breeds or what, but I'd guess there are.

Thanks! So are they someone's pets then? Just found it odd that I saw 2 different groups so far from each other in the same year and I've never seen them before that.

Good to have around if you need a herd of ticks cleared off the lawn.
