Just got my new Crossbow magazine and read RB's article "Wait til you have kids". Very well written and very entertaining read. I wish I could document and tell a story as well as you John. Great Job!!

Yep, read it last night as well. I can't get enough of the adventures of Joey. Good stuff.

Thanks guys!! My mailman must be reading mine, I hope it is in the box today so we can take it to camp this weekend.

It was tough bringing all the 2011 successes of my gang into ONE story...so I hope it does not sound too choppy.

Anyway, thanks for the comments, and as always DPMS, Arrowhead and all the others I look forward to all your well thought out informative regular features as well, a cover to cover keeper read for me every time.

Also, thanks guys and TBrom for asking me to share my year in the magazine, it was and will be a thrill for the boys, myself and my Dad to see their story and pics in there. Just a nice finishing touch to one heck of year as we prep for the next. You can type a million stories on the internet and I am addcited to the instant feedback and interaction from those, but for some reason seeing it in print is like a trophy. Another framer for the mancave... ;), I may have to find an extra copy or two for that.

You guys just made this ONE LONG workday jestera...I am guessing i will be getting a call around 3:45 when the boys get off the bus and get the mail.

thumbs Have a good one fellas, and thanks again for the comments and to all that gave me the opportunity to do a little print writing. And Mike (arrowhead) what can I say about your help and guidance in equiping huntetrs from 8-72, your homework and experience on the weapons certainly is evident, and having you put together the packages let us do more homework on figuring out the hill, I owe alot of the 2011 year to you, THANKS for your part in the best year of my hunting life. (so far grin )

Wald, I don;t think it will be on the site for awhile.

Thanks, some of these guys here get published every issue. cool

BTW, I remembered I get CM delivered to my HPA PO box and not my home, so I went and got the issue at lunch today... smile , the boys may be a little disappointed that my picture is the big picture on the page and theirs are smaller in the outline of the hands, but I had nothing to do with that...LOL, but my response will be " hey write your own article kid..." jestera

Like some of the changes they made to the magazine overall.

Where might one pick up this magazine, or is it available by subscription only? I may want to get it autographed one day!

Here is where you can subscribe to it. http://www.crossbowmagazine.com/subscribe2.html Todd or Gene will have to answer if it is available on newstands. I think maybe this was the first issue that was going to be available that way, but I am not sure. This is a relatively new magazine and is the 5th issue. IMHO if you hunt or shoot with a crossbow it is a must have subscription. Actually even if you don't use a crossbow it still has good articles and stories in it.
