It was a good press conference........I'm sad to see him go, but somewhat glad he is not playing elsewhere

As you all know, I am a Ravens fan, but I think that management should have him the opportunity to reitre before they cut him. They should have given the best receiver in team history a little more respect than that.

I think they gave him a gift letting him play as much as he did his final year. Hines in his day was the best BIG catch, BIG block combo I have ever seen...but even football players get old nd need replaced. Now the questiosn remains, how long til he runs for Govenor??? THANKS HINES WARD!!...some great years given to the Steeler Nation.

He gave the Steelers no choice.

Ok. I was assuming that they didn't. I guess lots go on behind the scenes.

I would still love to see them give him the opportunity to be a WR coach. He could stay with the team and teach blocking to future generations. If they haven't learned how to block by the time they get to the NFL, they either won't or can't. And the team knew that well before they sign them. He'll probably piggy back the Bus and go on his show or some sort of sportcasting
