It was a 3" sunnie that I brought home in the lunchbox that I was using as a tacklebox.

A snapper (baby bluefish) Captree boat basin LI-NY. What a place look it up. There are hundreds of people who make a living fishing there.

Not my first fish, but I caught a big palomino with a tag in it when I was about 9 years old. I won a Heddon rod with a big Mitchell reel on it, and I though I was pretty big stuff with that outfit !

Wow cool topic. I think I was probably 3 or 4 and I remember catching my first fish. There was a "GIANT" coy in my eyes at age 4 in the middle of the pond, but my brother insisted I not try and catch it on my little pole. Therefore, I settled for a 4" blue gill a few casts later.

a huge rock bass. caught it with a broken off rod with the line tied to the end. i still remember it. i was probably 4. i still fish in the exact same spot about 50 yards in front of my camp along the raystown branch of the juniata.
