It was a 3" sunnie that I brought home in the lunchbox that I was using as a tacklebox.

A snapper (baby bluefish) Captree boat basin LI-NY. What a place look it up. There are hundreds of people who make a living fishing there.

Not my first fish, but I caught a big palomino with a tag in it when I was about 9 years old. I won a Heddon rod with a big Mitchell reel on it, and I though I was pretty big stuff with that outfit !

Wow cool topic. I think I was probably 3 or 4 and I remember catching my first fish. There was a "GIANT" coy in my eyes at age 4 in the middle of the pond, but my brother insisted I not try and catch it on my little pole. Therefore, I settled for a 4" blue gill a few casts later.

21 inch northern pike in Mercer. I was 4 at the time and remeber being really upset because it was too small to keep. Obviously it was just a big fish to me at the time and I didnt understand. Funny thing is..my son who is currently 4 to be 5 in July, has already beat me in 2 of my personal best..landing a 6.5 lb bass and a 14.25 inch perch. Both he baited, casted, and landed on his own. His success I chalk up to the fact that when I take him, which is 75% of the time, its about him.
