Emptying the fur shed this A.M.

Pictured left to right are me with our first (and only to date) SEPA coyote. My daughter, who has been my trapping partner for the last seven seasons. She is the one who got me back into trapping after a very long lay-off. This was her last full season running the line with me, she is going off to college this fall...it's been a heck of a lot of fun...a great run.
The black lab is her dog and has been our constant trapping partner from day one.
The young guy is an eleven-year-old neighbor kid. He is my daughter's replacement, my new trapping partner. He ran our line the last two weekends of the season and shows lots of excitement and enthusiasm. He's even talking about getting into hunting and I'm encouraging him! His parents don't hunt or trap but are fine with it. In fact, they are he ones that suggested I show him the ropes saying his time in the Boy Scouts has really piqued his interest in outdoor activities.
The old beagle is my other daughters dog. He is an occasional trapping partner when he's not too lazy to get out of bed in the morning!
It was a good and enjoyable season.
